Good News Story!We are very proud to say that following our attendance at the Domestic Abuse Commissioners Festival of Practice held on 28th & 29th March in Manchester, our Service User Representative, and Facilitator of our Peer Support Group, Emma, who is a survivor herself, was invited to have lunch with Nicole Jacobs, the Domestic Abuse Commissioner. Following this, Emma has been invited to become a member of the Survivor Network Board and will be working alongside other survivors from around the UK. The network of survivors will be working with the Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s team to ensure that survivors are at the heart of the Commissioner’s work to protect women and girls from violence and abuse.
